Founded in 1949, the Royal Canadian Air Force Pipes and Drums (RCAFPD) has the distinction of being the longest continuous serving Air Force Pipe Band in the Canadian Forces, proudly wearing the RCAF Tartan for all performances, and has participated in many national and international performances over the years.
